Occasionally you have to do things just for the fun of it. For graphic designers, posters are the medium most closely related to fine art. The offices of modern8 (and its predecessors) have always been downtown, so the urban landscape is part of our daily experience. We like it here, so we decided to celebrate downtown buildings in posters. We’ve got three completed, with more to come. Shown above is the Ken Garff building, one of the most prominent examples of downtown mid-century architecture, built with flat planes, and the first in Salt Lake to veer away from the masonry style that preceded it. All three posters are for sale in the modern8 store.
